Outside The Hayburn Wyke Inn
Beer Garden
Enjoy a relaxing drink and a bite to eat indoors, in the gardens or on our outside decking and seating area. Walkers and cyclist stop off for refreshment after exploring one of the many trails that surround the Inn. Dogs are always welcome and fresh water is readily available after all the exploring they have done on the way!
Local Area & Countryside
The Hayburn Wyke Inn is nestled in the middle of the beautiful National Park where the coastline meets the countryside. A short walk will take you through a nature reserve to a secluded cove where a waterfall cascades onto the stony beach where you can easily imagine smugglers landing supplies in the dead of night.
The surrounding woodland offers lots of different walks for all ages with a chance to watch the wildlife with rare birds, deer, badgers and foxes commonly found in the area.
The popular coastal walk “The Cleveland Way” is very close by, along with the “Cinder Track” which is the disused railway track between Scarborough and Whitby and runs right beside the inn. This now offers a very scenic and safe walk or cycle with different stop offs along the way
